Eye Exams

  • What's Involved in an Eye Exam?
eye exam - dr zadeh

A complete eye exam involves a series of tests designed to evaluate your vision and check for eye diseases. It doesn't hurt. Your doctor may use odd–looking instruments, aim bright lights directly at your eyes and request that you look through a seemingly endless array of lenses. Each test evaluates a different aspect of your vision and eye health.

Rosalyn Coleman

Being residency trained in pediatrics and vision development, I specialize in diagnosing and treating vision problems that interfere with your ability to learn, work, or live your life to the fullest. At Family Eye Care of Roswell I look forward to making sure that vision is no longer a part of your struggle.

Before optometry school, I had an amazing experience at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Southern College of Optometry in Memphis was my next stop. It was here that I gained a passion for pediatrics and vision therapy. As a result, I decided to continue honing my skills by completing a residency in Pediatrics and Binocular Vision at Nova Southeastern College of Optometry in Fort Lauderdale.

Outside of the office, I am a regional trustee for the National Optometric Association and a member of the College of Optometrists in Vision Development. I have also volunteered internationally and locally through organizations such as Unite for Sight and the Special Olympics.
